Design, supply, installation and servicing of fire protection systems

The business of Gisborne fire Protection Division is to provide state-of-the art fire protection and live safety systems for industrial, institutional, and high-rise commercial or residential projects.

FOREST INDUSTRY: Gisborne Fire Protection is Canada's leading supplier of fire protection systems for OSB and MDF board plants.  Weyerhaeuser, Georgia Pacific, and Louisiana Pacific are among our valued customers.  At Buckeye Canada, we protected an air-laid paper machine and West Fraser benefited twice from having Gisborne's "Mistek" system protect it's large MDF press system.  We also work in pulp and paper mills and protect all types of solid wood and fibre processing systems.

MINING INDUSTRY: We work closely with leading mine engineering firms to design and supply fire protection systems from clients in North and South America.

OTHER PROJECTS: Our project range includes the protection of a large power generating station and a manufacturing facility in the telecommunications industry, a plate expansion at a feed stock producer, the protection of warehouses, residential high-rises, hospitals, schools, and universities.  We have also developed expertise with sulphur handling and provide wash down systems for port facilities and terminals.
